The baseball is authenticated to the July 4th, 2017 gamewhen the Arizona Diamondbacks faced off against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Thebaseball was used in the bottom of the 8th inning when Diamondbacks' pitcher JorgeDe La Rosa threw three pitches to the Dodgers' Chris Taylor (called strike, swingingstrike, and a ball). As seen in the pictures, the baseball displays the red and bluestitching that was only used for the Fourth of July during the 2017 season.
