Description: 1041G Harley Davidson 1964-1969 SPRINT IGNITION KEY BLANK Replacement for key blanks with the a part number of 1041G, 41G, CG12, CH1, or CG1. Fits Ignition of your Harley Davidson/Aermacchi SPRINT from 1964 through 1969. Key Dimensions: Blade Width: 10.2mm Blade Length: 17.4mm (Tip to shoulder notch) Prior to 1964, the Sprint used a round switch key, and starting in 1970, the Sprint used the 63SP "F" Code key like the other small HD 2-strokes. You can see a few other keys Harley used in pic #4 (in the Orange Box). If your key has a similar head style, pay close attention to whether the center groove runs down the center line, or off to the left or right. This small blank's groove runs direct down the CENTER of the blade. 1969 Model year owners: I had the owner of a 1969 350SS report his bike used the 63SP blank, so 1969 bikes might have split between the 1041G and 63SP blanks. Beware and compare pics! Also may fit some other Italian 60's-70's era two-strokes/scooter/moped brands (match your key part number prior to ordering!). This blank also works on ignitions of some Outboard Motor Corporation (OMC) outboards made by Evinrude, Johnson, and Gale. The BRICKLIN car company used this key blank on their DOORS for their short run from 1974 through 1976. I currently have a few H72H fork lock keys still in stock for 1961-1971 HD Sprints as well.
