Description: Offered here is a beautiful print of the Robert Benchley comedy short "WHY DADDY?" from 1944. These M.G.M. Benchley shorts are much more difficult to acquire than the Paramount shorts which Blackhawk Films sold back in the 1960's. These M.G.M. shorts were never licensed to the home movie market. When Joe Doakes listens to a quiz show on the radio and knows all the answers, his wife encourages him to go on a quiz show himself. He appears on a new show called "Why Daddy?", where a child and an adult compete against each other, with less than stellar results.—David Glagovsky courtesy I.m.d.b.ABOUT THE PRINT - This is nice rich density original print (don't be mislead by the fuzzy contrasty frame caps posted) Condition is in excellent shape. Just a few splices of no consequence. It comes on an 400-foot reel / no V.S. issuesI have many more offerings on ebay under my alternate selling site STAN4837.
