The cover is worn, soiled, and stained. This book has "deckled edged" pages. The pages of the book are not smooth and appear uncut or untrimmed, but it is intentional. Deckle-edged books were the original standard in publishing to make books look and feel “antiquarian". The name of the previous owner is written on the endpaper at the front of the book.
