Description: Up for sale is a Antique English Black Glass Cylinder Wine Bottle with its Original Label. Circa 1830s. The bottle is a very dark olive green color, otherwise known as "Black Glass". The shape and style of the bottle is circa 1830s and the bottle has a sand chip pontil scar on the base. The bottle has its original label that reads "V. / VICTORIA / MADEIRA. / DAVID BARNUM" There is one tiny chip on the inside of the lip, light scratches throughout the surface, some dark stain from the original contents on the inside and wear/discoloration to the label as seen in the photos. The lip has a manufacturing imperfection that appears as a chip at first glance, but rest assured it is NOT a chip. Overall the bottle is in good condition and still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:11" Tall.2 7/8" Base Diameter. This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
