Covers have some mottling. Black title label is intact and stamped with bright gilt lettering. Covers are bowed but both joints are intact and without cracking. Hinges and binding are tight. First blank page has owner information and title page has owner name. No other writing. Pages are supple. The beginning pages have staining to edges, dimishing farther in, but later pages have a smaller dampstain at top edge. Starting at page 325 ink offsetting darkens the pages but doesn't interfere with legibility. See pics for table of contents.
