Bound in the publisher’s original dark green half morocco, gilt decorated spine with green cloth boards, with the gilt crest of the Kingdom of Jerusalem to the front boards. Six volumes bound in three, with 250 Lithograph Plates, printed in colour. The volumes are complete in all respects with 241 colour-tinted lithographic plates, 6 tinted lithographic titles and vignettes, 2 lithographic maps, and 1 portrait of Roberts. All page edges gilt. The bindings show some wear, marks and scratches, Vol I-II has had a spine repair with the original spine laid on. Internally the leaves are tanned with some foxing, more extreme to the beginning and end and the margins of the prints. The lithographic prints all retain their original protective tissue covers. Some pages standing proud to Vol II-IV and V-VI. Vol. I – [vi], 35pp; 44 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages; Vol. II – [ii], 2, 43 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages; Vol. III – [i], 3pp; 38 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages; Vol. IV – [ii], 9, 43 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages; Vol. V – [ii], 44 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages; Vol. VI – [i], 38 plates with unnumbered accompanying text pages.
