Description: This is a 1915 Pre-Prohibition Stamp for special tax from the Internal Revenue Service with the 12 months of attached stamps. It was issued to Henry C. Luebbe for the Hotel he built, in 1914, at 33 - 35 4th Ave., Carnegie, PA. ( a suburb of Pittsburgh). The current address is 33-35 West Main St, Carnegie, PA. The building is still standing and in use. I have posted a photo in the listing, along with Mr. Laubbe’s obituary. Also include is a stamp for one barrel of fermented liquor, dated March 22, 1933. Right at the end of prohibition. There is also copy of the “ SALOONKEEPERS COMMANDMENTS “. These are all in a wooden frame with a glass front, that measures 16” X 10”. There are some tears, stains, and creases as shown in the photos. I did not open the frame, but the items are not attached to the backing since they appear to have shifted slightly.
