Description: A beautiful historical representation in hard currency of our, the U.S. system. The strongest bank and most powerful currency. The United States Federal Reserve banking system. There are 12 Federal Reserve Banks. The 12 federal reserve banks are noted labeled from East Coast to West Coast - One 1 through 12, and A through L. ; A being the first letter of the alphabet, and L being the 12th letter in the alphabet. After this small period of time in 1928 Federal Reserve Banks were noted by letter in the center of the seal for the next 75 years; and now noted with both Letter & Number on each Dollar Note to state which Federal Reserve Bank was produced, printed, and issued from. In and only in the year 1928 were Numerical District Federal Reserve represented in Number rather than Letter in the center of the Bank Seal. These Bank Notes are Numerical and District Notes. They are very rare, desired, and collectible. In fact the Numbered Numerical Dollars were not even represented by number for the entire year of 1928, because in the collection is a $50 Note with G with the “light green seal”, in addition to the Numerical 7 $50 note. Additionally I have collected a # 9 $20 bill in addition to the “ I “ $20 note. This Numerical Federal Reserve District collection is represented in $10, $20, and $50 notes. This collection represents all 12 Federal Reserve Banks. Some notes are graded. I have specifically and intentionally collected circulated notes so that they have a unique character and patina that proves and shows authenticity. I also like to be able to handle my money, and feel the unique character and history of it. The reason that print new money is because old money is easier to fake, forger, and copy. Circulated Notes Currency shows real authenticity. The Notes in this collection are all extra fine XF to VF very fine condition. No Holes. No Tears. Many of the notes are worth having graded. There are many unique and beautiful Dollars - Bank Notes - Pieces of Currency in this collection. In addition to Numerical District collection I am including three 1929 Depression Era Bank Notes. The notes represent the first three Federal Reserve Banks - Boston Massachusetts, New York New York, and Philadelphia Pennsylvania in $5, $10, & $20 ascending order. Furthermore, included from 1929 are two special and unique “Charter Note”. One being a $20 Bill - Charter 200 from the First National Bank of Boston Massachusetts. The lineage of this bank can be ascended to what it now Bank of America. The second is a $10 Bill from The National Bank of Washington, District of Columbia, Charter Number 3425. Two very uniques and awesome Notes - pieces of currency. Lastly included is a sealed and graded 1928 $1 Dollar Bill that is in Extremely Fine Condition. This is a great collection, with a lot value, and future potential gains built into it. People will always demand the ability to hold a hard currency.
