Nusbaum with the aid of Dr. and Mrs. DA Horner, Dr. and Mrs. JK Calvin for The Mother's Aid of The Chicago Lying-In Hospital, Illustrated by Ethel Schacherer Memory Book w/Many Depression Era Artifacts, including, but not limited to, a blank hospital "First Medical Examination After Leaving Hospital" form, numerous period Child's birthday cards from 1933 - 1941, child photographs and a family tree. Most of these artifacts are shown in the photos. This book is from the NASA scientist Neil LeRoy Nickle, a 33 year JPL scientist (when he retired in 1996) and geologist who contributed greatly to the Magellan mission that the Space Shuttle completed. Mr. Nickle was also on the Lunar Samples Acquisition Planning Team (LSAPT) for Apollo 11 at the time when there was great concern that the samples to be brought back from the Moon could be carrying 'moon germs' and developed a quarantine procedure for the first lunar samples. He was also a Rose Parade official and judge for many years.
