Description: This listing is for a wall mount telephone recently purchased from a local estate sale. It is an Automatic Electric Monophoe rotary dial telephone made of cream and black metal. There are side vents on three sides of the body and it has a curved beveled edge on the top. The handset is gracefully curved and has a spit cup on the mouthpiece and a smaller cup on the earpiece. There are brass bands around the mouthpiece and earpiece on the handset and also on the finger wheel. It has an extra long spiral wire cord. The base of the telephone is black and is marked "T L5000B0 OH9". The body measures 9 1/2" X 5 3/4" X 5 3/8". Condition: There is a lot of scratching and chips in the paint, especially on the hand set and the handset holder on the body of the phone. There is discoloration around the brass bands on the handset and some white paint around the base of the body. It is untested. Check my listings for more vintage and antique collectibles.
