Description: I have for sale a souvenir medal issued for the 1936 Wisconsin Territorial Centennial celebration that was held in Madison, Wisconsin. This medal is listed in the So Called Dollar catalog as HK696. The medal is bronze, 1 1/2 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition. It comes in the original cardboard holder. The holder reads WISCONSIN CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION - 1836-1936 - SOUVENIR - MADISON WISCONSIN. The medal obverse reads WISCONSIN TERRITORIAL CENTENNIAL with the year 1936 and it also shows the capitol building with clouds behind, a small building and an animal, which I assume is a badger. The reverse at the rim shows several stars and MADISON at the top rim. The top half of the center shows an eagle and has the date 1936 - JUNE 27 - JULY 5. Below the eagle it reads OFFICIAL - WISCONSIN - CENTENNIAL - CELEBRATION. Please see over 950 more collectibles for sale in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables. (19,487 TTRD)
