Description: 1946 Electromatic 607A AM Table Top Radio Phonograph - NOT WORKING PARTS REPAIR This rare radio appears to be complete but is not working. In the on position, the amplifier makes a humming noise through the speaker, but I can't hear any stations. There is no indicator in the AM radio dial window. The phonograph is also not working. The turntable does not turn. This unit will need work and internal components may be missing or defective. The cabinet is in overall nice condition. I cleaned it with a rag but did not wax it or stain it. The grill is complete and undamaged. (These often get broken). The dial glass is in good condition, and the two original knobs are still on the front of the unit. AM radio and 78 Rpm (only) record player in a tabletop unit. Great futuristically styled, curved walnut, maple and plywood cabinet. 17-1/2"W x 22"D x 11"H. Made by the Electromatic Manufacturing Corporation. This is a large, heavy radio.
