Feel like a 40's siren with this set of accessories, which is being modelled by the stunning film star Phyllis Calvert! The set comprises of a turban, scarf, gloves (which are crocheted) and ankle socks (not seen in photo) All items apart from the gloves which are crocheted, were originally knitted in a dark and a light blue which would be both colourful and stylish for the era. All items were originally worked in a 3-ply yarn called 'Edmonds' 3-ply Silver Fingering on appropriate needles or hook (see below). You may wish to try a modern 4-ply, as vintage yarns were heavier than modern, however, do work a tension square first to see if a change of needles or hook is necessary.
