Description: 1960s MCM Hobnail Milk Glass HANGING Ceiling Fixture CHANDELIER by MOE LIGHTING Here is a cool looking glass and brass metal chandelier type hanging light from the 1950s or 60s. This one was made by MOE LIGHT and I've found the exact one shown on page 25 of the 1967 Moe Lighting catalog, see last photo. This was from their Early American style product line and the model number was M-1301-12. I've seen similar ones called Fenton or Fenton like hobnail glass lamps but here is a marked one that can be attributed to MOE. Its a smaller size hanging light which is usually more popular and desirable, it will hang about 18 inches from the ceiling canopy mount and is about 10 inches in diameter at the widest point around the middle 3 brass colored metal arms. The hobnail glass shade measures 8 inches in diameter, 6 inches in height. Most of the items I sell are as-found and in used vintage condition unless otherwise stated, so all sales are final unless I really overlooked something. Absolutely great overall condition with only some normal light wear, no damage to fixture, some old paint drips on canopy that will come off, the glass globe and bottom hobnail ball finial are both damage free, very clean too, the actual socket and wiring look to be in fine shape electrically and I had no hesitation in testing this fine looking lamp out, this is a hardwired fixture so no cord or additional wiring is provided. Some of the metal fixture may actually be brass, its pretty heavy, curved tubing is not magnetic. Everything looks original to the piece. Obviously, these lamps are not antiques, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 50’s and 60’s.
