1960s The Lilly Pulitzer Ruffled Maxi Sun Dress Size 6 Green Floral Empire Waist

Description: Vintage “The Lilly” Lilly Pulitzer Maxi Dress. Material/Color: Woven white cotton/polyester fabric with a dainty allover floral print in green and yellow. “lilly” printed throughout. Yellow piping around top and down the front of bodice, as well as around bottom ruffle. Bodice is lined, skirt is unlined. Style: The bodice is fitted and features an empire waist with a full, floor-length skirt and wide ruffle around the bottom giving the dress a cottage / prairie look. Shoulder straps are adjustable with buttons, and can be worn crisscrossed or straight. Zipper and hook and eye closure at the back. On the label: “The Lilly” Lilly Pulitzer Inc. Style #5121. 65% polyester, 35% cotton. Hand Wash, or machine wash delicate cycle. Use mild suds. Do not use bleach. Drip dry, iron with synthetic setting. Do not dry clean. Condition: Great pre-owned condition for a dress from the 1960s. No holes. There are a few small spots near the bottom of the skirt. There are also some small stitches on either side of the bodice where there may have been a belt. See pictures for details.
