1st Vintage Paperback edition 1st printing Burning Daylight by Jack London!

Description: Here is another excellent title. This is Burning Daylight by Jack London. This is a first vintage paperback edition published by the Popular Library in 1961. This copy has some issues however the spine shows only the slightest hint of a crease. There is a slight lean to this copy and there are a series of what may be rodent damage to the first eight pages at the upper right hand corner as well as the front cover. The spine ends are in very good condition and the four corners are in very decent condition as shown. The original green top stain is blotchy on the three page blocks also as shown in the photos provided. The original price of .35 cents is present on both the front cover as well as the top of the spine. There is fading and/or a “wash” to the edges of both covers. The lower right corner of the rear cover has a small tear at the spine buy nothing overwhelming. This copy is not for the serious collector but more for the lover of vintage paperbacks or Jack London editions. Collectors ( admirers ) of vintage paperbacks know that they were produced using less than quality paper and glue so having one still in existence sixty-three years later appeals to us. They were usually purchased, read, perhaps finished, and usually left on a plane or commuter train or just simply tossed away. They are usually left in their archival plastic protectors and proudly displayed on their shelves. And when they are removed they are handled gingerly.
