The snakes tongue is missing on one and bent on the other. The one that is missing has been missing for a VERY long time as it is smooth. That same one does not have the 'bump' on the back of the head like the others, and it looks like it was made that way (maybe the tongue was left off on purpose as well??). See last pic. One has a small ding. The insides look to be lined with something. I thought it was wood at first, but I'm not sure what it is. These are some great pieces and are NOT the ones you see at Pier 1 imports!!! These are old and heavy. Each one weighs just under 3lbs. Please see pics for more details.
