Vehicle Details 2022 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor with under 8600 miles and 265 idle hours. I purchased this vehicle the summer of 2024 from an insurance auction. The vehicle was originally purchased by the Robeson County Police Department in North Carolina. Backstory- When the vehicle had roughly 5500 miles on it, two officers were sent to serve a warrant on a murder suspect. They arrived and were met with gunfire at the suspects front door. They took cover and the suspect jumped in the police car and took off. Within blocks of the house the suspect was met with additional police units who opened fire on the front windshield of the vehicle and took the suspect into custody. When I received the vehicle it needed a new windshield, passenger side door glass and a repair to the left rear quarter panel. A local body shop took care of all the body work, glass, etc and I’ve been daily driving this car ever since. It drives perfect, no warning lights, and is practically a new car with just under 10,000 miles. I did the first oil change on the car and used the best Amsoil synthetic oil and filter. (I will include oil and filter for your next oil change as I got a good deal on two kits). Included with the sale are the rear door interior window guards. I removed these as I was daily driving the car and don’t like the windows covered, but they can be re-installed with simple Phillips screws that I have saved if you need them. Also included is the laptop tray that I took out but you can re-install with 4 bolts in a few minutes. Windows are fully tinted, and there’s a full set of carpeted floor mats with the rear cargo carpet as well. The vehicle is equipped with a Setina front push bar and Blueprint Soundoff Signal unit for future emergency lighting, sirens, etc. The only extra lighting currently on the vehicle are white LED’s that are integrated into the headlights. This truck is ready to add whatever emergency gear/lighting you need. There is no CB radio but there is a UHF antenna installed and the wiring is in the center console ready for you to plug right in. This vehicle is ready to enjoy and needs nothing. Fly in and drive home or send a carrier and have it delivered.
