It's a heavy weight woven curtain on jacquard loom ~ ( I have the matching curtain and one other piece, to view simply search my store for the words green stripes ~This piece dates from around 1890 , it's colors are green cream and black. It's all cotton , heavy weight so it can be used as an upholstery fabric, it's VERY sturdy! ~It should be dry cleaned before use to freshen it up ( reflected in the price) but it will bring many many happy years ! ( I have some other small pieces of this set, to view simply search my store for " green stripes" MEASUREMENTS: This lovely tapestry measures approximately 62 inches by 17 inches CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. I recommend dry cleaning this textile before use. I don't believe it's ever been washed in all of these years and it would be good to freshen it up!
