Description: AK CD Klingenberg LIMOGES Porcelain Hand Painted Powder Box Dresser Jar Peacocks Click images to enlarge Description Antique A K Limoges France Hand-Painted Trinket Powder box Gold and pink with Peacocks around the edges 1900-1910. Beautiful piece of french porcelain. A K France marked on the bottom - indicating this piece was made by seasoned Limoges artisan painter A. Klingenberg , who opened up his own studio in the late 1880s. Both pieces are also marked Engle. This mark was used from 1900-1910. (D indicates dispose - French for registered) This piece displays beautifully bu both pieces look to have been professionally repaired - you can't feel the repair with your finger or see the repairs from the outside - you have to look inside to see it was repaired - please see pictures. Powder Jar is approx 8" in diameter, 4" high. Hand painted cream, light pink and deep purple rose floral design with three peacocks on top set against a glowing gold and cream backdrop with an art deco design leading into the center.
