It's the 213 minute long director's cut, spread out over TWO Blu-ray discs, with tons of special features! Colin Farrell is the conquering king Alexander, and Angelina Jolie plays his mother. Also featuring Jared Leto, Val Kilmer, Anthony Hopkins, and Rosario Dawson, among many others. Next up is the 2007 classic film '300', done in a breakthrough style of computer animation and live action. Starring Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, Lena Headey as his wife (Headey was in 'Game of Thrones', 'The Purge, and many other films), and directed by Zack Snyder ('Dawn of the Dead', 'Batman V Superman', 'Justice League', 'Man of Steel', among many others). Single disc edition with several special features included. Then we have 'Troy', starring Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Eric Bana, Diane Kruger, and Peter O'Toole, among a few others. This is the TWO disc version, with one disc containing the 162 minute movie, and the second disc including tons of special features. 'The Odyssey' is also included in this bundle. It's a mini-series from 2001 (and is 3 hours long). Adapted from another epic poem from Homer titled 'The Odyssey'. Starring Armand Assante, Eric Roberts, Greta Scacchi, Christopher Lee, Bernadette Peters, Isabella Rossellini, and Vanessa Williams, among others. This one details a fascinating classic story from Greek mythology, and is actually really, really good! We end with 'Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief'. It's an awesome movie, along the lines of the 'Harry Potter' and 'Fantastic Beasts' movies. Rated PG, so ok for the kiddos (no intense swearing or nudity). Starring Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson, and also featuring Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Joe Pantoliano, and others. Directed by Chris Columbus. Some of the discs in this bundle look new, and are still shiny and clean. Others have a few surface marks on them, but nothing too bad, or that will affect play. I have watched each one of these at some point during the past few years, and everything played fine. Some of the cases look great, while a few others are showing slight signs of wear. They are all either Region 1 or region free DVDs, and Region A or region free Blu-rays. Rated R, PG, or unrated (the TV movie 'The Odyssey'). Everything is recommended for mature audiences or older teens and not young children. ('Percy Jackson' is not too bad, with mild violence and scenes of peril, and 'The Odyssey' is the same.)
