June 2,1896. Pat. March 29,1896. Pat. Jan.31,1899. The Decal on each side of the scale is marked: "PELOUZE MFG. CO. QUALITY PELOUZE CHICAGO". The Bottom of the Scale is engraved: "PELOUZE MFG. CO. CHICAGO PATENTED JUNE 2ND 1896 MAR. 29TH 1898 MAR. 10TH 1903 MAR. 28 1903 PATENTS PENDING". Not for the perfectionist but for the lover of time worn shabby chic beauty! !!!SOLD AS IS!!! If there is something specific you need to know, please ask questions! Used condition. There are the normal scruffs & scratches to the scale due to use & age. The face is in good condition. There are some slight dents around the edges. The gold paint on the scale is worn. There is part of a sticker on the top that needs to be removed. Most of the nickel plating is worn off the scale pan. There is rust to the pan. Needs to be cleaned, if desired.
