Description: ANTIQUE 19th C. MAJOLICA PITCHER CRANE /HERON Lily Pad Cattails French English? Beautiful and unique 19th century Majolica pitcher. Each side has a diving crane or heron headed towards some lily pads in the water. It’s in good antique condition. There is what looks like a water stain on one side. Otherwise there are no condition issues that didn’t arise in the firing process. There are some rough spots in the glaze but they all occurred in production. Very nice piece, excellent colors and subject matter, it displays wonderfully. I’m not sure if it’s American, French, or English. It’s signed with only an X on the base. That happens to be the Minton mark for 1845 but I assume it’s not a Minton piece. Shipping is ASAP! Thanks 7” approximate height
