Description: I have for sale an antique 19th century highly carved gilt mirror. I believe it is European and am leaning towards French. This mirror came from an estate that mostly consisted of quality 19th century French antiques. You can see on the backside of the frame where (2) wood braces have been added for a repair. You can see an example of one of these in the (20th) photo above. Other than that the wood mirror is in nice original condition. The gilded paint is still in very nice condition. I have provided over (70) photos below to give you a very thorough view. On the back of the mirror glass you can see some very faint writing. I am thinking this is dating when the glass was changed.
