Description: Up for sale is a Antique Floral Porcelain Double Handled Cup & Saucer Set made in Limoges, France by Charles Ahrenfeldt and imported/sold in Baltimore, Maryland U.S.A. Circa 1891-1930. The set features a gorgeous pattern of pink, blue, and yellow flowers with green leaves and gold gilt decoration around the rim and body with a ornate dark green pattern within the gilding. The base of each piece has a green printed mark that reads "CA / FRANCE" and a second mark that reads "LYCETT / STATIONERS / BALTO". The CA mark is for Charles Ahrenfeldt of Limoges, France and it was used from 1891-1930. He would have been the maker of the cup and the cup would later be imported into Baltimore, Maryland and sold in a local retail shop which is what the second mark is. There is minor wear to the gilding and floral decoration and typical base wear as seen in the photos. Otherwise the set is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Overall the set still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:Cup:1 7/8" Tall to Rim.3 5/8" Rim Diameter.5 1/4" from Handle to Handle.1 5/8" Base Diameter.
