Description: Up for sale is a late 19th century Chinese Pakton water pipe used for smoking tobacco or, more traditionally, opium. The pipe set comes almost complete with the pipe, smoking material container, tweezers and container that hold is all together. The pipe is made of an alloyed metal which has a silver-nickel appearance where not exposed to air. You can easily see the line on the pipe and container where it has sat in the carrying case for many years, giving them a 2-tone effect. I believe there was an addition (2) tools but those have gone missing over the years. The pipe case is wrapped in a pierced leather “sleeve” that is in excellent condition. It stands 15 3/4” tall
