Description: For sale is an antique 1892 "Our Girls" hardcover 177-page book published by Morrill, Higgins & Co., Chicago, Illinois. Inside are interesting stories and pretty poems by Louisa M. Alcott, Laurie Loring, H. B. Hudson, Olive Thorne and Celia Thaxter. The book has a solid leather spine. Many pages have black and white illustrations. There are no markings or coloring on any of the pages. There is age yellowing on most of the pages but there is no musty odor with the book. The front cover has retained most of its original colors and features a Victorian scene of two young girls holding paper lanterns. The cover corners are rounded. The book measures approximately 9.5" long x 7.5" wide. Very nice antique collectible children's book! The book will be carefully packaged for shipping.
