Description: AntiqueButter Crock with Cows This early stoneware crock has a bristol glaze, with 2 decorative cows in blue. The crock come compete with its lid, the handle is missing. It is a very nice example with the lid being in very nice condition, no cracks or chips. The crock itself has not cracks, and no chips to its top rim. There are small surface chips around the outside of the base, but no cracks. Size: 5.5 inches in diameter, 3.5 inches tall.Nice Condition, Lid intact very nice, some chipping around base edge, bottom has what appears to be a crack but we think is a flaw in the lay and firing of the piece, see photos.
