Description: Antique Daguerreotype Or Ambrotype Possibly Cabinet Card Photo Framed Wood/Metal This piece was purchased from an estate sale in Richmond VA. Frame measures 11.25" x 9.25". It's about 1.50" in height. This frame is heavy and wide enough to sit alone. Doesn't have to be hung. Beautiful Framed portrait of a Female with a lace blouse and wearing a necklace. I don't have any information on the photo other than it appears to be on cardboard. The photo held in the right light, appears to have a metallic finish maybe? This is where it's confusing, I can't determine with it framed if it's an actual Cabinet Card due to it being framed. The photo is framed in a wooden frame, with Gold paint on the outside edges and a distressed look in black. Most likely Gold Gilt. The inside of the frame is painted in a black finish along with Gold. The back of the frame is finished with paper. Has the wire hanger. It also has a sticker attached. There are tears to the paper on the back, I can only see cardboard behind the paper. I was hoping to see some identification on the photo. PLEASE look and ENLARGE all pictures for they will show any imperfections or flaws, if any, along with measurements. My items ship the same day or next day once payment is completed.
