PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION Antique pre-owned, pre 1920 E. A. Bliss Co. fine goldtone soldered metal mesh flapper purse handbag. Patina/darkened areas noted throughout. I see one missing link in the body of the purse. The zigzag collar, handle & tassel links appear to be intact. The bottom of the mesh purse tapers to a point and is decorated with a mesh covered bead forming a tassel. There is a zigzag collar at the top with a tiny blue bead at each tip. The goldtone frame has a pinstripe design & engraved ‘ED’ on the front and plain back. There is some discoloration & light surface scratching. It is stamped with the EA Bliss Co maker’s mark and Soldered Mesh. There is a tight & secure kiss lock closure with blue beaded ends. The mesh chain handle has about a 7" drop. The mesh is fine, soft and very flexible. The purse measures 6" in length plus a 1 ¼” tassel and 3 3/8" from hinge to hinge.
