Description: This is a beautiful antique pitcher or jug. It was made in France from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This ART NOUVEAU design features 'Red Roses' that are highly raised. There is also light-Celadon colored leaves and designs. The background is dark olive. The handle is a dark amber color, and the inside is a red maroon color. This glazing ("slip") is also referred to as Pichet en Barbotine and Majolica. The all-over designs and colors work wonderfully together. This pitcher is 7-1/2" tall x 6" x 5" and is maker marked. Bottom glaze has a crown and shield, FRIE ONNAING, Made in France and style/size number 776. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, glaze issues, etc. It is in excellent condition.
