Description: Vintage 1800's Croatian Traditional Folk Art Dolls Set, Dressed in Costume This is a wonderful set of antique Croatian traditional folk art dolls dressed in beautiful costumes. Each district had it's own costume design, and these dolls represent one of the districts. Not sure which one. The intricate details of their attire and the quality of their craftsmanship are truly impressive. These dolls are a unique addition to any collection of cultural and ethnic artifacts, and their handmade quality makes them even more special.Dolls are in very good antique condition. The last picture shows the broken foot.These are from my family on my father's side - who came over to America before 1900. None of the younger generation in the family wants them, so we would like to pass them on to a collector.
