Description: This listing is for an antique piece of architectural artwork, depicting an elevation and partial plan of the Temple of Fortuna Virilis, a temple of ancient Rome. Due to the deep impression mark, I believe this is an original lithograph or etching of some kind, hand colored in watercolor. The artwork is beautifully matted and framed to balance with the soft colours of the print. It has great unfaded colors & a very visually stimulating style. This piece is also interesting in the way it is drawn as it has a “cutaway style” rendition of the temple. It is an excellent piece of antique original artwork for collectors, museums, decor / display in the home library or office, gifting, and much much more! The colors & style are timeless on this piece, and it has such a classic roman / greek / byzantine look. In frame it measures roughly 27 x 20.5 inches. I am unsure the exact artist or company that may have made this piece, it appears to be signed (see last photo) and the signature has a flower (maybe a daisy) in it. It also appears to have an artists name in both bottom corners, but I have not been able to find any information. This piece comes framed as is, in a handsome frame that compliments it very well. Comes as is, as shown. Please see photos for details.
