Description: Antique W H Grindley Co LTD England Ivory Floral China Vegetable Bowl 714550 This vegetable bowl is in excellent antique condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing. There are light scratches on the paint, a small discoloration, and production pits on the back [see photos]. The bowl itself is creamy white, rimmed with gold, with a deep blue border which is embellished with gold, as are the handles. The border is interspersed with brilliant bouquets of terra cotta, yellow, blue, and purple flowers accented by green leaves. Smaller bouquets adorn the curvature of the bowl. There is a pastel yellow secondary border concluding at a narrow gold band a third of the way into the bowl, leading the eye to a gorgeous gold rimmed floral medallion on the bottom.
