The thickness of the heel counter has also been adjusted to properly hold the heel when weight is placed on the heel. The front of the upper (instep) is made of platinum kangaroo leather. The foam material inside has been changed from low density to high density, and the thickness has been changed from 3mm to 4mm, in pursuit of a luxurious feel and softness to the touch. MOIS TECT treatment is also applied to prevent hardening even after use in the rain. The concave design on the inside of the sole reduces rigidity, while the convex design on the outside increases rigidity.
