Description: Auburn 8inch limited slip 28 spline unit. This part has been on the shelf for a long time. It has never been installed. It’s stamped J 2724, I have called Auburn it now uses part#542059. For use with 3.00 and numerically higher gear ratios. Must use Ford ring gear bolts from an open differential. Limited slip bolts are too long. See suggested parts tab for required bearings. Use non-synthetic 80w90 GL-5 oil treated with Auburn Gear friction modifier.
