Description: BALENCIAGA TURQUOISE CITY, Spring/Summer 2005 (‘A’ tag)2005 Spring collection is highly desirable among Balenciaga collectors! I purchased this bag second-hand. Overall, the bag is in decent shape except for what appears to be some kind of spill at the top left corner of the bag. From a distance, the color looks faded, but upon closer look, you can see the lines in the leather where it’s obvious something spilled on the bag causing the leather to become discolored. You can also feel a difference in the texture in this spot (its a little more stiff, not as textured and spongey as the opposite corner/rest of the bag). While you may be able to soften the leather, I don’t think there’s much that can be done to restore the color. Other than this, the bag's leather is in really good shape — thick, soft, spongey and distressed. There’s some minor color loss/rubbing/wear to the corners and the laces and only some minor fading throughout the rest of the bag (see how the color compares to the mirror). The handles have softened and started to darken & there’s wear to the edge paint along the inside of the handles. The inside is clean with no rips, holes or snags. There's a minor stain/marking on the bottom that I haven’t tried to remove. The tassels are worn but in decent shape (no spares). Comes with the mirror (which may have some surface scratching and/or scuffs) & generic sleeper. Shipping via UPS, $25
