Description: Brown Bottle 1970 Del Magnifico IL Ruffino Italy Chianti Brown Color Bottle, labels in good condition, aftermarket cork in top, no contents, empty, 11-1/2” tall, 2-1/2" wide at base, 3” width at midsection. I.L. Ruffino in Pontasseive (Firenze) trademark. Bottle label is stamped 410 indicating it was probably that number in production in the winery. A small color lithographic booklet on a string is included with this bottle telling the story of magnifico in Florence and provides a description of the fine mellow red liquid and it’s producer. The colorful lithographic images on the bottle label are a testament to the quality of this fine product. This bottle was produced in a very limited quantity. This Mellow Red contents was produced in the Chianti region, in central Tuscany, Italy. Baron Bettino Ricasoli (later Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Italy) created the Chianti recipe. This label indicates that this is indeed authentic Chianti from the Italian Chianti Region, original capacity is 1 pint, 8 ounces. Bottle is brown in color. The most commonly consumed fluid in Italy, and interestingly, the most commonly consumed Italian fluid in the world, Chianti is emblematic of what Italy means to the world of this production. Fermented primarily from Sangiovese, fresh cherry, strawberries, and red plum pleasure the senses when enjoying this product.
