Extract It All will remove water spots and other stubborn stains from all types of cloth seating, including the difficult to clean “sport” cloth seating. Extract It All leaves carpet and upholstery cleaner, brightener and softer with each use, and no sticky residue is left behind. This product works exceptionally well with all extractors and will not leave a chalky residue in solution tanks. Extract It All has a pleasant fresh scent and is environmentally friendly. How to Use:It is essential to remove as much debris as possible with the vacuuming stage. If you can utilize an air compressor, this will help blow out the areas where a vacuum crevice tool cannot fit. If you have severe stains, we suggest using Greenway’s Spot Lyft as a pretreatment for the most effective stain removal. You can apply Spot Lyft to the heavily stained areas and lightly scrub with a soft or stiff brush.Your brush will be determined by the type of fabric you are trying to clean. For your standard cloth fabric, a medium to stiff brush will be sufficient. For more delicate fabrics such as microfiber, Alcantara, and some “sport” cloth seats, a boar’s hair, horsehair, or a microfiber towel can be used for gentle scrubbing. Be cautious when using a terry towel, depending on the material being cleaned. A terry towel has excellent absorption properties, and fibers are generally coarse. This can remove the solution from the fabric and damage delicate material. Terry towels are best used on carpeting, standard cloth, and when maximize absorption is needed. After you are finished with the pre-treatment step, you can now proceed to your extractor stage or hand-cleaning stage. Extractor Machine Method:Some users like to add Greenway’s Extract It All directly into the extractor machine, while others like to spray Extract It All over the entire affected areas and then extract. Either method will work exceptionally well to help clean the carpet and upholstery. If your extractor is heated, make sure to pre-heat your extractor before using and following all manufacturers' directions on proper usage. Extract all surface areas and then allow to dry thoroughly. After the entire vehicle is complete, you can proceed to do another complete vacuum of the interior. Doing another vacuum of the carpeting and upholstery will help gather any debris brought to the surface that was embedded into the fibers of the material. You do not want to use your extractor machine like a vacuum unless your device is equipped to do so. Hand Scrub Method:Your brush will be determined by the type of fabric you are trying to clean. If hot water is available, you can fill a small bucket and place the brush of choice in the bucket. After you apply Greenway’s Extract It All to the affected areas, dip your brush into the water solution, and apply to areas that need agitation. This hot water will help further break up heavier stains and also further distribute product amount the deeper fibers on the material. After the entire vehicle is complete, you can proceed to do another complete vacuum of the interior. Doing another vacuum of the carpeting and upholstery will help gather any debris brought to the surface that was embedded into the fibers of the material. Tech Tip:It is crucial always to follow the proper dilution. Many detailers feel that more product is better, which Is not necessarily true. Using an excessive amount of product at a higher concentration ratio will end up in excess product left behind on the materials. Extra Extract It All will attract dirt from the materials it makes contact with (E.g., shoes, clothing, etc.). This will make all surfaces dirtier much quicker than usual. If you have an extractor machine, a clear wand is the best type of tool to use for viewing purposes. A clear wand will allow the user to observe how much material is still left within the vehicle's fibers. This will show the detailer when the extractor method is the complete due absence of solution through the wand viewing area. When working in a colder climate and time is of a concern, it is advisable always to complete the interior detail first. This will allow proper drying times before your customer picks up the vehicle. If you're outside and you do not have access to any drying machines and full cleaning of the materials is requested by the customer, a chamois works excellent in absorbing excess moisture. While terry towels and some microfiber towels can pull up excess moisture, a chamois typically can absorb more water than any towel can. This will also lead to fewer towels being and faster results. This chamois should be dedicated for interior use only and should not be utilized on paintwork. We suggest always purchasing two different color chamois or marking (e.g., cutting, branding) the material to disguise its use. Most utility vacuums come equipped with a dry filter pickup sleeve. These sleeves are not appropriate when you are a detailer who does not utilize a carpet cleaning machine and relies on your vacuum for dry and wet pickup. Once the dry filter becomes saturated over time with solution, filter breakdown and clogging occur at the motorhead. The motorhead is further strained, and debris passes through the material into the assembly portion. Vacuum lifespan is significantly shorter, and vacuum replacement is frequent. Investing in a foam filter, which is usually less than $5.00, can extend the life of your vacuum for years. The vacuum manufacturer does not grant most warranties due to the vacuum not being made for commercial use and debris inside the motorhead. Most small business owners do not have the funds to purchase a commercial unit right away, completely okay. Using a “contractor” grade type of vacuum will last for years with the appropriate filter always attached. Never worry about the size of the debris tank. As detailers, we are vacuuming small debris, and portability and horsepower are much more of a concern. A 4 or 5-gallon recovery tank is more than ample for any detail shop, whether large or small.Always utilize the proper extension cord when using an extractor machine. These machines typically have a high amperage draw and can be ruined if using too thin and too long of an extension. Make sure to check with the manufacture on which cord is suitable for your particular model. If you are a mobile detailer and want to run an extractor using a generator, make sure your generator is capable of the machine's initial amp draw. Underpowering the machine can hurt both pieces of equipment.
