Description: CHINESE YIXING ZISHA PORCELAIN PEACH FORM BROWN MUG WITH INSCRIPTION Dimensions: 8.6cm (3 3/8") high x 12cm (4 3/4") wide across handle Weight: 225g Impressed 'seal' mark to the base and an impressed artist signature 'chop' mark under the handle A beautiful Chinese brown Yixing porcelain mug. The twig handle extends on the left side to applied fruit and leaves and the mug has a peach form crease in the potting at the front. The opposing side has an incised inscription. I was told it is about the mug being presented to a company in China, so possibly indicating it was a presentation piece, although please note I cannot verify this information as I do not read Chinese calligraphy. Apologies for the variation in colour in the photos. The mug is actually like the darker brown coloured mug photos.
