NOTE: there is some light wear to the gold. Very Nice Coalport England Porcelain Tankard Mug. This features two hand painted landscape scenes of a country side with one side having a large castle in the background. The other side has trees with a snow capped mountain in the distance. It has been personally inscribed in gold and reads " Arthur McNeile, Baffin Street, Liverpool, Born May 3 1848". there is a wide gold band on the inside rim with two gold rings near the base. The handle has embossed acanthus leaves with gold accents. This measures 3 1/4" High x 3 3/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Mug.
