Description: This is the pair of rulebooks that came with the 1983 Basic Box Set (the red box) for D&D from TSR. It includes the Players Manual and the Dungeon Master Rulebook, and provides you with the basic information and rules needed to run adventures in the original D&D ruleset. The Dungeon Master Rulebook also includes a short adventure. Nothing else from the box set is included, just the books. They're original copies, not reprints. The books are in Very Good condition. The covers have minor wear but are generally in good shape. Their interiors are clean, tight, and unmarked, and their staples are unrusted. I am massively downsizing my personal D&D collection to fit into a new house, so you'll be seeing me listing loads of stuff over the next month or so. Lots of great material in excellent shape. Given how rare it is to find this complete, I'm happy to call this a solid collector's copy.
