Ingraham for Gately & Fitzgerald "Sunshine" Kitchen Gingerbread Shelf Clock Description This clock was manufactured by The Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol Connecticut for Gately & Fitzgerald furniture company to sell in their stores in Pennsylvania and Boston. Gately & Fitzgerald were a large company who sold furniture, dishes, and a very large self pronouncing pictorial family bibles. The name of this clock is "Sunshine" there is a label on the back ~see photos. 8 day time and strike movement. It counts out the hour and half hour on a gong. Movement has been completely cleaned and serviced and is in guaranteed running condition. Please see video below images for demonstration of strike. There is an alarm. These were often used as baking timers which is how these clocks came to be called kitchen clocks. Paper dial with black roman numerals. The case is dark Walnut and in beautiful condition. There is a reversed gold painted glass which adorns three cathdral (church) windows that allow the "Sunshine" in. Dimensions are Height 25", Width 15", Depth 5", and Weight 6 lbs.
