Description: Early WW1 French Artillery Officer Grouping for sale. Includes a Major’s M1893 tunic, Lieutenant’s Kepi and Belt. Tunic and and kepi are for the 43rd regiment of artillery (43e régiment d'artillerie). Tunic and kepi have no visible maker’s marks and are not named. No visible markings on belt. Tunic has some significant wear. Buttons show their age and more than a few rips and tears as pictured. Epaulette straps torn on both sides. Kepi is in very good condition. Belt in good condition as well. Grouping has come to me together so keeping it as is but acknowledging that the kepi and the tunic are for two different ranks.
