Description: This auction is for the Elemenophee “Bud” Dropknee bodyboard that is the signature board for DK pro Bud Miyamoto. Will offer FREE local pickup in San Diego to Orange County. Leash is NOT included. It is a board mainly for those who prefer to ride waves dropknee style. Crafted with super stiff beaded polypropylene, it is lightest weight of the poly pro and rejects water on the tightest molecular level. Nose has edge nibbles off the outside rail on front near nose and had to take off to prevent further peeling. I will apply Spongerez on it before handoff. It has stringers for extra rigidity and it is very stiff so it has strength to maintain speed preventing much flexing from weight of the knee. It has two channels that make it easy to hold the line through tougher wave faces but there are some bends near tail as pictured. Designed for dropknee style surfing, this board is perfect for experienced DK riders. It features a narrower 9 inch nose and wider tail for better weight distribution and DK dynamics. I believe wide point was towards back at around 20” down from nose and about 22” wide, and the tail wider at 21.75”. Please let me know if you need me to check these measurements again.
