Simply move the cylinder release forward, pop out the empty magazine, insert a fresh mag and unlatch the release. You will be happy to know that the H8R comes with 5 magazines (one in the H8R, 4 in the box). Running the H8R is best done with Umarex 12 gram CO2 and Elite Force Premium BBs. Each CO2 installs into the grip compartment and should last well past 50 shots worth of BBs loaded in the included magazines. In a modern touch, the H8R is equipped with two accessory rails, one on top for a reflex sight or red dot and the other on the bottom of the barrel for any other accessory you migth desire.
