Colorfast, has been handwashed. Semi fitted in that it goes slightly in at the waist but not belted originally, tho one certainly could. There's an area where dye bled onto it so I washed it in a dye-positive soap and none of the colors bled, which is why I think the dye came from a different item. Not all 1980s silks had their dyes set though everything I've seen from Ungaro and other Italian silks do not bleed unless you boil them. Literally. And not when they're ironed either. Has shoulder pads that sort of firm up the shoulder while cupping it – rather than sitting on top and sticking out. The pads add maybe a quarter inch to height and width. A perfect summer dress that needs no fancy stuff underneath. Goes from sneakers to strappy heels with no effort. Buttons end at waist and are all there, and side seams open from hem up 10” for ease of movement and showing a little leg. 40” around underarms, 36” around waist, 41” around hips and 41” from nape to hem. Side seams open from hem up 10”. 16” across shoulders, 12” long sleeves that are 13” around at their hems. I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you use it.
