Description: Hallicrafters S-76 Shortwave Radio Receiver Radio powers on as you can see in photos all tubes light up as well as the front panel, dial works but the band spread cable came off track so as of now that’s not working but that can be easily repaired. The radio does have static coming out of the speakers which is not a built-in speaker it takes a separate speaker which does not come with I was able to receive some signals but not very strong as you can see from the photos it has all the original capacitors and should be replaced hey seat sells a kit for this radio I’ve done them before just don’t have time to do this one I’m not selling it has a perfectly good working radio but it’s not a dead radio either it’s going to need some work to get it back in shape so if you have the time and expertise this is not a bad radio they’re kind of rare and when they’re working properly they’re very nice sounding.
