Hanau Sterling Silver Double Cup Compote English Import Hand Wrought Renaissance

Description: Renaissance Style Hanau Germany Sterling Silver Double Cup or Set of Two Compote English Chester Import Hand Wrought Marked .925 Presented is a beautiful hand wrought Hanau Germany sterling silver double cup or set of two compote centerpieces marked for sterling silver imported by Berthold Muler silver company of Chester England with a script date letter of j for silver made in 1909 imported from Neirshimer of Hanau Germany a very popular silver maker known to have was an exhibitor in the 1893 Chicago Columbia Exposition. Both bowls have a great hand wrought lobbing with bolted pedestal bases. One of the bases bolts or base may have been replaced or repaired at a later date. They have only some dings and some scratches and no monogram.
